Google announced a new feature for Gmail at its I/O 2023 developer conference called “Help Me Write” that will help users write emails faster and more easily. The new AI feature uses artificial intelligence to generate email drafts based on a user’s input. To use the new Help Me Write feature, users will simply need to start typing an email and then click on the Help Me Write button that appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. The AI will then generate a draft email based on what the user has typed so far.

According to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, the new ‘Help Me Write’ AI feature for Gmail may be used for a range of email activities, like sending a brief thank-you note, setting up a meeting, or following up on a lead. Additionally, the AI can produce email templates for typical scenarios like job applications or refund requests
