️️KDP Print Price Changes ️️ Lower royalties for #selfpublishing authors #amazonkdp

When I logged into my Amazon KDP dashboard this morning I saw a big yellow box with a caution sign telling me to stop and read.

Effective June 20, 2023 the cost of KDP Print books will be changing. This means for us authors that when the print costs go up, our royalties go down. I got an alert because it said one of my books will drop to a 0 royalty. (I know which one, my huge workbook that is so expensive to produce but I believe in it so much I basically make pennies on it – also, you can get the pdf version to print out at home to save money).

Amazon KDP is giving us the option to bulk update our prices which is nice.

Please tell your author friends so they can get ahead of this as well!
